The idea for Signz began when Ryan started looking deeply into astrology and saw how accurately a birth chart could describe personality, emotional patterns, and the dynamics between people. The more he studied it, the more he recognized that astrology was not simply entertainment—it was a powerful system for understanding human connection.

Yet no technology had ever made that understanding available to the public as a way to discover compatible people. Ryan saw the missing possibility: a public network that could apply full-chart compatibility before two people ever met. Creating that technology became the reason he built Signz. From the beginning, the vision included dating, friendship, business, creative collaboration, and every other relationship that can shape a life.

Ryan first developed Signz in 2020. The original app was released just as the COVID-19 pandemic began reshaping life around the world. At the same moment, communication with the overseas development team stopped abruptly. Ryan never regained contact with the developers who had helped build that first version.

The timing was especially difficult. Signz was entering early capital conversations with a group of 16 prospective angel investors, but the technical foundation and the team behind it had suddenly disappeared. The first version of the dream stalled before it had a fair chance to grow.

Ryan returned to Signz in August 2026 and rebuilt the product himself. The new version is not a restoration of the old app; it is a far more sophisticated interpretation of the original idea. Its compatibility system examines a fuller picture of two birth charts and translates complex relationships between planets into scores and explanations people can use.

Signz is the first technology to make full-chart astrological compatibility available to the public as a practical way to discover and connect with people. It applies that compatibility across dating, friendship, and business, bringing identity, proximity, compatibility, and communication together in a single public network for the first time.

Raised in Massachusetts, Ryan has been an artist throughout his life, working across mediums and treating creativity as a way of understanding the world. Signz is an extension of that practice: part technology, part design, and part spiritual inquiry.

His spiritual outlook begins with the natural laws of the universe and the belief that astrology and free will exist as opposite poles. At any given moment, a person lives somewhere between them—shaped by patterns and potential, yet still capable of choosing what to do with that knowledge.

That balance is central to Signz. Compatibility is not destiny, and a score is not a verdict. It is a new lens for understanding ourselves and one another. Ryan created Signz in the hope that greater understanding can create greater harmony: between partners, friends, colleagues, and the many people whose lives briefly or permanently intersect.
